NameLate Night DX Gang European Union Open Championship 2018
DescriptionHamSphere and the Late Night DX Gang group are proud to announce our second Late Night DX Gang European Union Open Championship. This contest will be held on 10th of March 2018. We decided to add to a list of countries and territories which are valid for multipliers all constant and negotiating members of the European Union and their entities according to DXHS list which belong to the European continent plus constant member of the EU/ Cyprus and negotiating member of the EU/Turkey (according to HS4.0 belongs to Asia). We are implementing an absolutely new HS4.0 contests multiplier system. We will be counting big grids of operators who are located in countries and territories which belong to constant and negotiating members of the European Union as multipliers. List of countries and territories valid for multipliers are shown below in multiplier section.

Categories:
Top 3 scorers in Asia (including Cyprus and Turkey ).
Top 3 scorers in Europe (including non-members of the European Union).
Top 3 scorers in North America and South America.
Top 3 scorers in Africa and Oceania.

Prizes:
1st places in every category will receive 50 HS credits + Certificate.
2nd places in every category will receive 30 HS credits.
3rd places in every category will receive 20 HS credits.

RulesYou can work with everybody.

Only one QSO per band with the same station.

You need to work as many big grids (for example IO85, JN07 etc) of operators who are working from countries which belong to constant and negotiating members of the European Union and their entities and located inside European continent plus Cyprus and Turkey as possible.

Repeated QSOs with the same station are valid on every new band.

15 minutes must have passed before you can contact the same op on a different band.
Score CalculationFinal result = Total points for QSOs x (Total multipliers on all bands + 1)
+1 is for cases if operator did not work any European Union big grid.

Extra infoMultipliers:
Every unique big grid (for example IO85, JN07 etc) of operator who are located in countries and territories which belong to constant and negotiating members of the European Union and located inside Europe continent + Cyprus and Turkey on every new band.
So if you worked for example IO85 on 3 different bands, you will receive 3 points for multipliers for your worked IO85 big grid. And so on for every unique big grid.
