Description | You are welcome to our 1st stage of the HamSphere 4.0 four hour series contest. This contest run over the entire year and consists of 6 stages. You will receive symbolic prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each stage. We spread this contest on all possible bands (excluding BC 48 m) of HS4.0 to make equal conditions to all operators.
Prizes for each stage:
1st place will receive 15 Credits
2nd place will receive 10 Credits
3rd place will receive 5 Credits |

Rules | NOTE: a frequency limit will be imposed on all bands (to allow non-contest stations room to operate during the contest).
All contest contacts MUST be above 35kHz from the bottom of each band (example: 7.035 and up, 14.235 and up, 21.335 and up). Any contest contact made below the 35kHz contest band edge will not count.
You can contact with all stations all around the world.
Only one QSO per band with the same station.
Repeated QSOs with the same station are valid on each new band.
5 minutes must have passed before you can contact the same op on a different band. You will receive points for each QSO. We will divide points by bands.
Multipliers:
You will receive 1 multiplier point for each new worked DXHS countries and territories only one time during all event.
You will receive additional multipliers for each distant operator (only one time during all event):
1 multiplier for each new worked distant operator on the distance 4000 kms or greater |
Score Calculation | Final result = Total points for each QSOs * (Total worked countries and territories according to DXHS list + Total numbers of distant operators)

Exchange | You will receive points for each QSO. We will divide points by bands:
1 point for each QSO on 17, 20 and 30 m
2 points for each QSO on 10, 11, 12 and 15 m
3 points for each QSO on 40 and 60 m
4 points for each QSO on 80 and 160 m |
QSO Points | Operators worked on more than one band will give a multiplier for each band. For example: If a station was worked on 10, 15 and 20m the score will be multiplied by 3.
You will receive 10 extra points for each new worked DXHS countries and territories only one time during all event.
